Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Architect (f/m/d) for our "Software & Hardware Framework" division, located in Aalen. If you possess a strong background in software architecture or programming, particularly with languages such as C++, Rust, or Buildroot, and have a passion for developing efficient, hardware-oriented software solutions, we invite you to contribute to our mission of enhancing safety through technology.Our dedicated software development team is focused on creating a comprehensive software platform intended for integration across all upcoming products.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain a versatile software platform. Conduct requirements analysis, and specify and develop the software architecture. Strategically advance the platform and its associated development methodologies. Provide support to other development teams in utilizing the software platform. Engage in development using C++, and potentially Rust and TypeScript in a Linux environment. Select and oversee external development partners. Implement agile planning and software development practices utilizing SCRUM. Enhance the CI/CD pipeline.Qualifications
A degree in computer science or a related field with a focus on software development. Extensive professional experience in software architecture. Proficient programming skills, particularly in C++11 or Rust. Familiarity with Buildroot, Docker, or Xilinx is a plus. Understanding of agile development methodologies. A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm. Strong analytical abilities and a readiness to take on personal responsibility.
