Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Security Expert to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the strategic development of our msg.Insurance Suite, a comprehensive digital solution for the insurance industry.
  • Collaborate with our IT and software development teams to design and implement secure architecture for our software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain IT security concepts and guidelines, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Oversee security monitoring and reporting, and conduct regular security audits and penetration tests.
  • Participate in sales initiatives, proof of concepts, and customer workshops, presenting our security solutions and expertise to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in agile software development and architecture consulting, with a focus on IT security.
  • Strong knowledge of security methods and standards, including ISO27000 and BSI Grundschutz.
  • Proficiency in Java/JEE and relevant open-source frameworks and tools.
  • Desirable: experience in cloud security and virtualized environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
