Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a key member of our product management team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic product development and launches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development and Launch
    • Develop and implement product portfolio strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Capture regional market requirements and incorporate them into product life cycle management.
    • Lead new product development or existing product enhancement projects with a strong market input and business case.
    • Improve product profitability in target verticals or develop new verticals for existing products.
  • Pricing Strategy
    • Develop and maintain price setting and price books aligned with product positioning strategies.
    • Analyze selling price trends and identify root causes.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to understand market requirements and deliver efficient support to drive top-line and bottom-line growth.
  • Business Support
    • Develop a deep understanding of applications in target verticals from a product perspective.
    • Enhance product and application knowledge by leading training and developing training materials.
    • Own products for regular sales support and application engineering support.
  • Marketing Activities
    • Participate in local technical associations.
    • Understand local approvals and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead product launching activities with Marcom.
    • Support and collaborate on marketing materials and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a preferred master's degree or 3 years of product management experience, and a minimum of 5 years of working experience in B2B business.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Ability to capture market requirements and stay sensitive to market trends.
  • Self-motivated and result-driven, with a strong willingness to develop a product management and marketing career.
  • English skills for working communication.
  • Interest in exploring new areas.
