Sales Assistant in Part-time

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, ensuring that they receive the highest level of service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store fixtures.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, counting stock, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
