About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Samsung SDS Europe Ltd. German Branch (Logistics Division). As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing daily transport operations for one of our key customers in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute daily transport planning and coordination of loading and deliveries to customers.
  • Monitor and control all Samsung shipments.
  • Act as a contact person for sales subsidiary, logistics partners, and customers to answer questions regarding order situations, administrative bookings, customer requirements, distribution conditions, documentation, and IODs.
  • Take corrective actions towards carriers in case agreed performance is not met.
  • Analyze logistical bottlenecks and opportunities.
  • Translate logistical issues/problems into workable solutions.
  • Solve complaints/anomalies.
  • Pro-actively inform customers on outbound progress.
Requirements
  • Logistics education (at least common ground with Logistics).
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Assertive personality.
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and pro-active attitude.
  • Constructive problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient level of German in speaking and writing.
  • Business English in speaking and writing.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
