Position:
Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d)
Specializing in plant-based raw materials and packaging solutions.

Role Responsibilities:
- Sourcing premium agricultural raw materials, packaging, operational supplies, energy, and services.
- Crafting a contemporary procurement strategy and executing associated concepts, including the utilization of digital platforms.
- Proactively enhancing the current supplier network.
- Identifying, selecting, and nurturing new supplier relationships.
- Negotiating favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Strengthening supplier management and evaluation processes.
- Implementing robust procurement controls based on relevant performance indicators.
- Establishing effective risk and contract management practices within procurement.
- Conducting market research, evaluating offers, and monitoring procurement landscapes and competitors.
- Overseeing material inventories and delivery timelines while ensuring adherence to delivery standards and quality expectations.
- Coordinating order logistics with internal teams or logistics partners.
- Maintaining procurement-related master data.
- Actively pursuing process enhancements and innovations in the supply chain, particularly through increased digitalization.
- Streamlining procurement processes and contributing to cross-functional projects, such as the deployment of a new ERP system.

Candidate Profile:
- Commercial education with a focus on procurement or a degree in business or agricultural sciences.
- Extensive experience in procurement and materials management; sourcing expertise in relevant markets.
- Industry experience in the food or agricultural sectors or food retail is essential.
- Familiarity with natural raw materials, agricultural products, or similar categories is advantageous.
- Knowledge of contract management is required.
- Proficient in MS Office and experienced with procurement processes in ERP systems.
- Conversational proficiency in English.
- Experience in team management.
- Strong initiative, innovative mindset, and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent conceptual and operational execution skills.
- Affinity for mid-sized companies and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong team player with persuasive negotiation and communication skills.
