Project Lead in Automation Engineering

You will oversee project management related to the acquisition of production machinery and the enhancement of manufacturing and packaging workflows.

• Draft investment proposals and applications as part of the project approval process
• Create project timelines and compile all necessary information for the specification documentation and data management systems
• Supervise project execution in close collaboration with team members from various departments and potentially external vendors
• From vendor selection, design validation, and commissioning to equipment qualification and process verification – you will be accountable for orchestrating all project milestones
• Implement process improvements through systematic evaluations, identify inefficiencies, and devise appropriate solutions to boost process productivity, effectiveness, and quality

• Completed degree in industrial engineering or a related technical discipline with a minimum of three years of relevant experience
• Understanding of economic factors in product development and proficiency in work studies, work design, and operational organization
• Experience with process design methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Lean Management techniques, ideally with a REFA basic certification and project management background
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a passion for collaborative project work
• Strong decision-making skills and a solutions-focused mindset
