At Uniper, we're shaping the future of energy and seeking a talented individual to join our Global Origination & LNG team in Düsseldorf. As an Ammonia Trader, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our LNG Trading and Origination team in managing physical ammonia positions, developing trading strategies, and ensuring profitable outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the LNG Trading and Origination team to support physical ammonia positions and develop trading strategies.
  • Assist in the development of risk management and hedging strategies to mitigate potential losses.
  • Work closely with the analytics team to evaluate and manage risk.
  • Ensure traded volumes align with Limit Risks and achieve profitable outcomes.
  • Provide support to the LNG Trading/Logistics team on deal capturing and contractual paperwork.
Your Profile
  • A degree in economics, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent.
  • At least five years of experience in the commodity markets.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and hedging strategies.
  • Proficient in risk analysis techniques and economic analysis.
  • Ability to remain up-to-date on current commodity market trends.
