Position Overview:

As an intern focusing on Holographic Optical Elements (HOE), you will play a crucial role in the advancement of compact optical functionalities within transparent layers, particularly for applications in augmented reality displays.

  • Throughout your internship, you will engage in the development of an Interference Lithography technique aimed at creating cutting-edge HOEs.
  • Working closely with our design team, you will be tasked with fabricating innovative HOEs for display prototypes within a clean room environment.
  • Your findings may be presented in an academic publication, showcasing your contributions to the field.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education: A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Optics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Familiarity with intricate laboratory setups, ideally in optics or photonics; proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ is preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: A collaborative team player with strong organizational skills.
  • Interests: A keen interest in optical technologies and solving complex challenges.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both German and English.
