We are seeking an experienced AI Privacy Specialist to join our team at Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH. As a key member of our Workplace Privacy Artificial Intelligence (AI) Review team, you will play a critical role in operationalizing privacy across Amazon's global employee, candidate, and contingent worker populations.
Key Responsibilities- Consult with Global Stakeholders: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure compliant outcomes and drive alignment with global privacy and AI regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
- Develop and Deploy Innovative Strategies: Rely on your subject matter expertise, case management, analytical, and relationship building skills to develop and deploy innovative strategies for data protection within AI-enabled tools.
- Provide Proactive Guidance: Offer proactive guidance for upcoming tech builds and roadmaps, work with senior leaders on acceptable business risk when applicable, and track remediation actions as needed.
- Ensure Compliance: Review third-party and internal Amazon AI applications for compliance with global privacy obligations and best practices, and ensure system owners follow the correct paths to full compliance.
- Document and Communicate: Create Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Records of Processing (RoPs) for regulatory needs, and draft written narratives to communicate obligations, risk analyses, and recommendations.
- Experience in Privacy, Data Science, or Risk Management: Proven experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and emerging AI regulations.
- Education and Certifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, with relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, AWS CCP, or AWS Certified Machine Learning.
- Technical Skills: Experience with coding in Python, PHP, Java, C/C++ (or equivalent language), including code maintenance and review.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of accountability and sound professional judgment.
