The Universitat Osnabruck is seeking highly motivated and talented researchers to join our interdisciplinary research team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about advancing our understanding of biological membranes and developing new methods to investigate molecular processes.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking 12 PhD positions to commence work on January 1, 2024. The positions are limited until June 30, 2027. The research projects of our Research Training Group focus on the interdisciplinary development of new methods to follow molecular processes on biological membranes with highest spatial and temporal resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in a research project of the DFG-funded research training group
- Own further scientific qualification with the aim of obtaining a doctoral degree
- Completed first degree (M.Sc.) in life sciences, chemistry or physics, or related fields of study
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary research
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to engage in multilateral research cooperation
- Very good command of written and spoken English
- State-of-the-art laboratory and equipment infrastructure at the Center for Cellular Nanoanalytics (CellNanOs)
- Collaboration in exciting and cutting-edge research projects
- Intensive and interdisciplinary supervision by project leaders and methodological experts
- Integration into a structured, tailor-made PhD and qualification program
- Collegial collaboration in interdisciplinary and international teams
