Process Optimization Consultant in Supply Chain Management

Position Overview:

The role is available in multiple locations, providing flexibility in your work environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the enhancement and adjustment of the global customer order processing workflow, from initial inquiry through to production order management and final delivery of goods, emphasizing configurable products.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative tools and methodologies in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Manage, coordinate, and assess requirements for process or IT modifications from various departments, ensuring optimal workflows while considering the entire process chain and detailing processes with IT.
  • Facilitate and support IT rollouts, engaging in the evaluation and prioritization during the execution of optimization initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison for the supply chain at the intersection of Product Development, Product Life Cycle Process, and Operations.
  • Design and continuously refine processes and functions in partnership with relevant departments at both global and local levels.
  • Develop and execute new configuration strategies.
  • Assess and technically elaborate on new requirements while managing their implementation.
  • Provide second-level support to global production facilities regarding issues in the order fulfillment process for configurable materials.
  • Lead and coordinate projects within the international supply chain framework.
  • Deliver training and support to key users worldwide.

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive professional experience in supply chain management.
  • Proven track record in executing logistics and IT projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain interdependencies and process management.
  • Strong skills in designing and optimizing supply chain workflows.
  • Proficient in SAP, particularly in the PP, SD, and MM modules, along with solid MS Office skills.
  • Experience with SAP LO-VC and AVC, as well as other configuration tools like camos.
  • Fluent in both German and English.
  • Demonstrated holistic thinking, initiative, and strong analytical and conceptual abilities with an affinity for IT.
  • Exceptional training, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • High customer orientation, teamwork capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and possess intercultural competence.
