Fashion Designer

We're seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our team at Les Lunes, a fast-growing fashion start-up from Berlin. As a D2C eCommerce brand with a focus on social media, we're reaching millions of women in Europe every month.
We believe women shouldn't have to compromise between looking good, feeling good, and doing good. That's why we produce iconic, long-lasting styles from sustainable raw materials. We're committed to breaking up with fast fashion and promoting a positive attitude towards life for women who buy fashion consciously and with a good conscience.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct extensive research to identify emerging trends in silhouettes, shapes, fabrics, details, and colors, aligning them with Les Lunes customer demands.
- Design and develop market and trend-oriented products that align with current fashion trends and the Les Lunes brand ethos.
- Create design flats and tech packs with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Attend fitting sessions, and collaborate with technicians and buyers to adhere to quality and brand standards.
- Oversee the transformation process from design concepts to successful products, ensuring alignment with brand vision and customer expectations.
- Work on the Les Lunes Calendar to meet deadlines.
- Travel to suppliers, attend fashion fairs, and conduct international store checks to compare and analyze global market trends and innovations.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in fashion design, preferably in women's wear, with experience in sustainable materials considered a plus.
- Fashion degree in Design or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.), with first experience in 3D product development as a bonus.
- Good understanding of constructions and materials.
- Creative and dynamic attitude, strong customer-centric mindset, and understanding of our customer value proposition.
- Excellent self-organizational skills, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments and adapting to changes.
- Work well in a team environment utilizing strong communication skills.
- Exhibits initiative, drive, and a focus on achieving ambitious objectives even in challenging, uncertain situations with competing demands.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (company language), with German proficiency as a bonus.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with diverse teams, from product to sales, as you integrate best marketing practices, fostering a holistic and cohesive approach.
