Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Oversee critical areas related to financial evaluation and clarification of business dealings, including provisions, financial assets, and financial instruments.
  • Reporting Duties: Prepare comprehensive IFRS Reporting Packages and HGB financial statements, implement accounting matters directly into accounting systems, ensure adherence to system configurations and group standards, and actively engage in ERP initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance European accounting processes, organize and lead company-wide financial projects and special topics to develop innovative concepts, procedures, methods, and tools.
  • Team Leadership: Act as Deputy Team Leader, fostering collaboration within the team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Background: Successful completion of a business degree or equivalent commercial training with further qualifications (e.g., certified accountant).
  • Professional Experience: Relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or consulting; initial leadership experience is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HGB and IFRS standards, proficient in MS-Office; familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Navision, is advantageous.
  • Personal Attributes: Possess strong analytical skills and a keen affinity for numbers; capable of independent, responsible, and goal-oriented work; demonstrate integrity, teamwork, strong communication skills, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in German.
