Internship Opportunity in Facility Management

Position Overview: The Mercedes-Benz Group AG stands as a leader in the automotive industry, recognized globally for its premium and luxury vehicles. The 'Sustainable Infrastructure Untertürkheim' division plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation of hazardous materials storage lists across various waste management centers, ensuring compliance with relevant permits and regulations.
- Analyze and enhance the quality management systems to assess the performance of external service providers across all sectors.
- Conduct random inspections to verify the performance of external contractors and the effectiveness of quality management practices.
- Evaluate existing key performance indicators in store floor management and propose innovative solutions for improvement.
- Refine current tools and enhance our intranet presence for better accessibility and efficiency.
- Perform on-site assessments and prepare risk evaluations focusing on occupational safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Facility Management, Environmental Protection, Waste Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Possess strong analytical skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
