Position Overview:
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Platform Security Lead to enhance our security framework. In this pivotal role within the CISO Department, you will be responsible for embedding security measures into our IT and Development teams, identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities, and fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for security integration within IT and development processes.
- Perform thorough risk evaluations, including design assessments, security requirement formulation, gap analysis, and validation of security controls.
- Facilitate the adoption of DevSecOps practices within our development teams.
- Act as the primary liaison for security-related inquiries, connecting with the CISO department for expert guidance.
- Evaluate information security risks associated with business initiatives, assess potential impacts, and ensure that remediation efforts are tracked throughout project lifecycles.
- Collaborate with IT personnel to align platform security strategies with the organization's risk tolerance and threat landscape.
- Cultivate specialized knowledge in platform security to ensure that security measures are effectively integrated.
- Partner with colleagues to identify and implement standardized security solutions.
- Support the CISO Risk & Compliance team in the development and revision of information security policies.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in security technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical training.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in IT and Information Security, demonstrating the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with security architectures across various domains, including cloud and application security.
- Proficiency in threat modeling frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP.
- Understanding of essential security standards and frameworks, including ISO and NIST.
- Expertise in security testing methodologies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Experience with security in cloud environments and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security-related legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
