Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the development of sourcing strategies within logistics
  • Establish logistical requirements, calculate logistics expenses, and assess suppliers based on their logistical capabilities
  • Monitor material, value, and information flows throughout the supply chain
  • Represent interconnected production areas, including material buffers and control mechanisms
  • Enhance value streams by identifying inefficiencies and proposing alternative processes
  • Develop and maintain a logistical quantity structure aligned with supply planning
  • Prepare essential planning documents and coordinate packaging and material flow concepts
  • Serve as a liaison to suppliers regarding packaging and material flow strategies
  • Actively participate in core teams and steering committees as a key interface
  • Facilitate the logistical onboarding of new suppliers and locations, ensuring a seamless supply process

Your Profile

  • Degree in economics or industrial engineering with a focus on logistics or equivalent experience
  • Significant professional experience in the automotive sector
  • Familiarity with value stream mapping or design methodologies
  • Experience in material management and supplier collaboration
  • Proven track record in planning logistics chains
  • Proficient in both German and English
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent working style
