As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for defining, setting up, and managing our IT environment, including servers, cloud, PCs, and networks. Your expertise will be crucial in advising on software tools and services, acting as a contact person and interface to our Group IT center, and coordinating IT activities across all Metals locations worldwide.
**Requirements:**
* Completed studies or vocational training in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or a related field
* Over 2 years of professional experience in IT Administration or IT Infrastructure
* Solution-oriented and creative thinking for supporting and enhancing our IT infrastructure
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
* Team player with a passion for collaboration and customer service
* Proven proficiency in English and German, both spoken and written
* High initiative, commitment, flexibility, and responsibility
* Knowledge of VMware ESX, Office/Microsoft, Bitdefender, Atlassian (Confluence & Jira), and Fortinet is desirable
