About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at GICON Großmann Ingenieur Consult GmbH [GICON GmbH]. As a Project Manager Environmental Approvals, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to environmental approvals and permitting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation, including reports, records, and correspondence.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Monitor and control project costs, and ensure financial reporting and reconciliation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in environmental approvals and permitting.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, laws, and policies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
