Regional Legal Counsel and Contract Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Legal Counsel and Contract Manager to join our team at Geodis Interservices. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Advice and Support: Provide expert legal advice and support to our business operations, including contract review and negotiation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and risk management.
  • Contract Management: Manage the contract review process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Europe Region General Counsel and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Law, preferably in German Law.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of professional experience in a related field, including knowledge of German civil and commercial law.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to navigate international working environments, and fluency in English and German.
  • Personal Qualities: Willingness to work with multidisciplinary and international teams, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
