Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our innovative data team overseeing the comprehensive data lifecycle of our solar technologies, from data collection on vehicles to delivering insightful outcomes across various products.
  • Analyze data derived from solar installations on diverse vehicles, utilizing both real-time and historical datasets to extract valuable insights and generate alerts.
  • Execute data simulations to assess system performance and provide constructive feedback for optimization and enhancement.
  • Support the engineering team in implementing enhancements based on findings from data analysis and simulation activities.
  • Investigate and introduce cutting-edge ideas and features to perpetually elevate our product offerings.
Our Expectations
  • A completed Master's or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • A robust engineering foundation with an emphasis on photovoltaics and energy systems.
  • Previous experience in monitoring and modeling PV system performance is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with vehicle architectures and energy consumption patterns is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Practical programming experience in Python, SQL, and proficiency in Matlab.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large datasets, executing queries, and overseeing databases.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of telematics hardware is considered a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Alignment with sustainability principles and a proactive approach to personal and team accountability.
