Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Manager to enhance our team and drive our sustainable initiatives further at Oberstdorf Resort.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies for Oberstdorf Resort, aligning with our vision and goals.
• Coordinate and execute sustainability projects and programs, ensuring effective collaboration with various departments.
• Promote and implement sustainability measures in collaboration with departments such as Purchasing, Operations, Marketing, and Quality Management.
• Advance our sustainability vision and strategy within the company, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility.
• Monitor and analyze environmental performance of our hotels, identifying areas for improvement.
• Train and raise awareness among employees on sustainability topics, promoting a culture of sustainability.
• Develop and maintain sustainability reports and documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Organize and participate in internal and external sustainability events, showcasing our commitment to sustainability.

Requirements:

• A strong commitment to the sustainability vision of Oberstdorf Resort.
• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainability Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Experience in sustainability, preferably in the hotel or tourism industry.
• Knowledge of environmental management and sustainable development principles.
• Team-oriented and proactive work approach, with excellent analytical and data analysis skills.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with a passion for environmental and conservation issues.
