As a key player in our team, you will facilitate the transition from successful prototype evaluations to widespread market implementation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leading clients and contribute to the development of advanced energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- System Setup and Diagnostics: Oversee the deployment of battery storage systems at client locations, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. Address and resolve technical challenges swiftly to maintain service quality.
- Collaboration with Research and Development: Partner with our internal R&D team to relay field insights, fostering product enhancements and feature adjustments based on practical applications.
- Documentation and Process Development: Contribute significantly to the creation and refinement of operational manuals, installation procedures, and service guidelines to be utilized across the organization during initial market entry.
- Ongoing Technical Support: Provide continuous assistance to clients, ensuring they maximize the benefits of our products. Perform maintenance on battery storage systems as required, particularly during the initial implementation phase.
- Client Engagement and Training: Interact with business and industrial clients, delivering customized product demonstrations and practical training sessions.
- Educational Background: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in engineering or technical roles focused on the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, ideally within energy generation or storage sectors. Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Communication Proficiency: Capable of conveying complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to new challenges and environments, providing real-time solutions as our inaugural full-time Application Engineer/Application Technician.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel occasionally for client site visits within the DACH region for installations and support.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with a team of engineers, sharing insights from both development and installation to enhance collective performance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and address technical issues on-site, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Desirable Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with battery storage systems, electronics, and relevant industry standards is advantageous.
