Production Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Operations Manager to lead our industrial gas filling plant in Leuna, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve production efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, optimize supply chain management, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Manage and control production costs, inventory, and assets, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, and sales teams, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior operations or production management role, preferably in the industrial gas or chemical industry.
- Proven track record of driving business growth, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Fluent German and excellent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
