Business Intelligence Integration Specialist

Role Overview:
The IT Miles 2 Market department is seeking a skilled BI Engineer to join the CoC Support Applications Team in Stuttgart. This role involves the development and deployment of comprehensive business intelligence solutions utilizing advanced technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft/Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Spark, and Power BI.
2. Create and optimize SQL queries, Python Notebooks, stored procedures, and ETL processes to effectively extract, transform, and integrate data from diverse sources.
3. Develop and maintain engaging data visualizations, reports, and dashboards with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
4. Monitor and resolve performance issues, enhance queries, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
5. Stay informed about the latest trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BI Engineer, Software Developer, or in a similar capacity, with a strong grasp of Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Data Warehouse, Microsoft SQL Server, and the Microsoft BI Stack.
- Solid understanding of various data warehouse models, Lakehouse architecture, and ETL/ELT design methodologies.
- Experience in designing and developing ETL processes using Python, SSIS, SQL, Spark Framework, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
- Proficiency in creating interactive and self-service reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
