We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Integration Specialist to join our Autonomous Vehicle Operations team in Munich, Germany.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with automotive technicians and senior engineers to develop and maintain our autonomous driving platform.

Your primary responsibility will be to triage reported vehicle platform issues, debug and maintain systems, and integrate them into vehicle platforms.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting automotive bus systems, solving vehicle communication issues, and providing feedback and raising incidents where necessary.

Additionally, you will be hands-on in vehicles to determine root causes of reported issues and raise suggestions for improvements to avoid recurring issues with the platform.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of hands-on validated experience in diagnosing automotive bus systems and working on vehicles
  • Bachelor in Engineering field (Automotive, electric, IT, or similar)
  • In-depth experience with e.g. CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet
  • Experience with diverse automotive sensors incl. radars, cameras, ultrasonic and LiDAR
  • Good technical problem-solving ability and attitude
  • Prior automotive technician experience
  • Extended computer and excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills for on-the-spot resolution to customer concerns
  • Computer-savvy, ideally some experience with scripting languages and Linux
  • Excellence in troubleshooting and problem-solving of Automotive Electronics installations
  • Experience with state-of-the-art automotive bus analyzing tools (e.g. Vector)
  • Worked with latest sensor technology for autonomous driving platforms incl. sensor calibrations
