Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute significantly as a team member within one of our agile Scrum teams, focusing on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Indra Avitech's product offerings for the aviation sector.
  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from initial concept through testing, implementation, and ongoing support, utilizing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.
  • Design and implement API interfaces and business services for Aeronautical Application components.
  • Mentor Junior Developers by preparing development tasks, conducting code reviews, and engaging in pair programming.
  • Produce enterprise-grade, horizontally scalable code adhering to best practices, efficiently and in line with specifications.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a proactive engineer with expertise in Kafka, Java, Spring/Quarkus, and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Extensive experience with Microservices, Event-Sourcing, open-source data solutions, and cloud-native applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of the infrastructure, hardware, software, database, and middleware stack.
  • Engineering experience with Kafka/Confluent and familiarity with Kafka APIs.
  • Relevant understanding of best practices concerning security, performance, and disaster recovery.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
