Structural Mechanics Simulation Specialist

Position Overview
As a key member of an international team, you will provide Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) support to the product development division. Your primary focus will be on conducting finite element analysis (FEA) within the domains of structural mechanics and dynamics, evaluating the durability of structures based on your simulation findings. Collaboration with the testing department and external partners will be essential to validate and refine your simulation techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting lifetime evaluations of structures subjected to static, thermal, and dynamic loads
- Performing finite element analyses in structural mechanics and documenting findings comprehensively
- Enhancing and developing simulation methodologies and processes
- Communicating results effectively to both internal stakeholders and external clients
Candidate Profile:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge in mechanics, dynamics, and structural fatigue
- Proficiency in finite element software tools such as Abaqus, Nastran, or HyperWorks
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with a methodical approach to work
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience or a PhD thesis focused on structural mechanics
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
