Trade Marketing Specialist

Akar GmbH, a leading international distribution company in the FMCG sector, is seeking a highly skilled Trade Marketing Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the sales organization, you will be responsible for driving marketing efforts and supporting customers across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to support sales growth and customer engagement
  • Plan and execute trade activity plans for each channel, analyzing performance and making data-driven decisions
  • Conduct market, competition, and trend analyses to inform marketing and sales initiatives
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create and implement an annual incentive plan and action plan
  • Commission external advertising and marketing agencies to support brand promotion
  • Develop and implement sales promotion measures, including POS materials and digital content
  • Maintain and develop the company website and social media channels to engage with customers and stakeholders
  • Develop and provide content material for customers and online platforms
  • Organize and support trade fairs and sales events to showcase products and build relationships
  • Manage the delivery of promotional items and marketing materials
  • Oversee budget control of marketing activities to ensure effective resource allocation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, international business marketing, marketing management, or digital marketing
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in trade marketing or marketing
  • Excellent German language skills, with proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with analytical and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with a willingness to learn and adapt
