Job Title: Working Student - Technical Support for Clinical Image Data Management & Data Analytics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our team as Technical Support for Clinical Image Data Management & Data Analytics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our Magnetic Resonance (MR) Marketing DICOM Image Database and Microsoft Access database, as well as creating and maintaining database management and improvement processes in Python or alternative scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the MR Marketing DICOM Image Database and Microsoft Access database by importing images and adapting the naming of the datasets to our agreed standard definitions
  • Create and maintain database management and improvement processes in Python or alternative scripting languages according to instructions from the colleagues
  • Support us with the analysis of structured log data to provide analytical insights
  • Support sending images out of our database at special customer or internal requests
  • Support preparing image bundles for congresses/conferences
  • Assist during virtual MRI scanning sessions

Requirements:

  • Currently studying Medical Engineering or any other technical field (e.g. Data Science, AI) and at least one year available
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Access) and SharePoint / Power Automate is an advantage
  • Knowledge of Python or alternative programming languages
  • Basic knowledge of the DICOM standard is advantageous
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management is advantageous
  • Familiarity with medical imaging systems would be of benefit
