Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Aquatic Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the pet department, including care, supply, and sales of aquatic products. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the pet department, including aquatic products, to ensure optimal sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to customers on aquatic products, ensuring they make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and loyalty.
  • Accurately handle cash transactions and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Participate in store layout and maintenance to ensure a clean and organized shopping environment.
  • Shelf maintenance, stock management, and goods receipt and control to ensure efficient inventory management.


Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training or equivalent experience in retail.
  • Strong knowledge in the area of aquatics, including aquatic products and animal welfare.
  • Expertise in aquatics as per § 11 Animal Welfare Act is desirable but can be obtained through further training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
  • Team player with a willingness to pitch in where needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Known for honesty, accuracy, and a high sense of responsibility.
