Marketing Engineer for Product Development

Our client, a prominent player in the automotive and industrial sectors, operates as a Value Added Distributor with a global presence exceeding 5,000 employees. They specialize in opening new markets through their extensive international network, primarily catering to clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, while providing prompt assistance from dedicated teams.

In the role of Marketing Engineer for Product Development, you will serve as the pivotal link among the internal technical product development team, the marketing and sales divisions, and the clientele. Your primary responsibility will be to articulate the technical benefits and features of their offerings, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and market trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and present technical product demonstrations for both internal and external audiences
  • Perform market and competitive research to refine product positioning
  • Assist in formulating product strategies and plans for market introduction
  • Provide technical assistance to the sales team and support customers with inquiries
  • Create and update technical marketing documents such as datasheets, whitepapers, and application case studies
  • Collect and evaluate customer feedback to inform product development
  • Work collaboratively with the internal development and sales teams to ensure products meet market demands and are effectively promoted
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
  • Relevant experience in a comparable position, ideally within the technology or electronics sector
  • Strong grasp of product development processes and/or technologies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Proficient in analyzing market and customer data
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and lead projects
