Infrastructure Automation Specialist (f/m/d) at a reputable IT Security Firm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and sustain a fully automated IT infrastructure setup, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
  • Design and implement comprehensive monitoring solutions for our infrastructure and services.
  • Oversee the operation of our production infrastructure, ensuring effective monitoring to prevent blind spots and responding to alerts within established SLAs.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for internal infrastructure, tools, and self-service solutions, providing support to colleagues as needed.
  • Lead and actively participate in the development and enhancement of our deployment pipelines utilizing Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform.
  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing preventive measures.
  • With your knowledge of cutting-edge technologies, act as a supportive mentor to colleagues, fostering a culture of inquiry and learning.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Git, CI/CD deployments, and pipeline configurations, with solid expertise in Ansible.
  • Extensive experience with container technologies, including Docker Swarm and container registries.
  • Familiarity with monitoring methodologies; experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Zabbix is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is preferred.
  • Strong command of CLI, with familiarity in Bash and some experience in Python.
  • Possess an open communication style and excellent proficiency in English.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction in all endeavors.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform.
  • Understanding of DNS, firewalls, and networking principles.
  • Some familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Xen and ESXI Hypervisor.
