Construction Manager

Join Digital Realty as a Construction Manager and play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects related to data centre facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Ensure consistent, efficient, predictable, timely, and high-quality execution of construction projects.
- Stakeholder Communication, Contract Management, Quality Assurance, and Cost Change Process Management.
- Lead and mentor the construction team by providing guidance and support.
- Promote and model an attitude of continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork in behaviors and communications.
- 10+ years' experience working construction project management, preferably in data centres.
- Strong background in Project Management methodologies.
- Experience in managing a construction project.
- Experience with the design and deployment of technical electrical and mechanical systems (electrical or mechanical background).
- Experience in Continuous Process Improvement and defining and managing associated metrics and KPIs.
- Experience in data centres or a similar mission critical environment is considered a significant advantage.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English (C1 or C2 level of CEFR).
- Good German language skills (B2 level of CEFR).
