We are currently seeking to fill a position within our Global FP&A Team:

Senior FP&A Business Partner - Global Operations & Integrated Supply Chain (d/f/m)

Become a part of an exceptional team at our headquarters, collaborating with a dedicated global FP&A team and colleagues worldwide to drive impactful business results, foster growth, and enhance learning.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all financial management functions within Operations and Supply Chain for Leica Microsystems, serving as the Financial Business Partner for the VP of Global Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Manage the financial KPI framework, including monthly evaluations, forecasts, and budgeting processes, while enhancing and standardizing reporting across all locations.
  • Promote productivity in material costs and conversion costs across all manufacturing facilities.
  • Lead working capital management with a focus on inventory optimization.
  • Ensure appropriate capital allocation across manufacturing sites and drive the strategy for supply chain footprint.
  • Guarantee financial compliance across all sites, including the standard costing process.
  • Supervise and develop the operations finance team, comprising 10-12 full-time employees.

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's in Finance or equivalent)
  • Over 10 years of experience in FP&A or controlling within a manufacturing context, preferably in capital investment sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and business insight to comprehend complex global production and supply chain networks.
  • Proven history of enhancing financial processes, including the design of budgeting and forecasting systems, as well as reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with an emphasis on talent development in a global setting.
  • Demonstrated executive communication skills and the ability to cultivate followership within a matrix organization.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
