Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems within a microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality backend systems using Golang, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
- Collaborate with a diverse Scrum team to build and optimize applications that enhance our business operations and drive innovation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and developments in backend engineering, and contribute to the growth and improvement of our engineering department.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in backend engineering, with a strong track record of building scalable and efficient systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in backend engineering with experience in Golang, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization.
- Fluency in Golang, with a track record of implementing scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications.
- Experience with data warehouses (e.g., PostgreSQL) and modern backend engineering tools and frameworks.
- Business fluent in English. German is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, conceptual thinking, organizational ability, teamwork, dialogue skills, and a sense of responsibility.
