AIOps, or Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations, represents a cutting-edge approach that integrates sophisticated analytics with IT management to streamline operational tasks efficiently. This technology empowers IT specialists to oversee, monitor, and resolve intricate challenges linked to digital infrastructures and applications.

The essence of AIOps lies in utilizing advanced analytical instruments such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to enhance the automation of IT functions. Rather than substituting human roles, IT experts harness AIOps to oversee, monitor, and address the multifaceted challenges associated with digital infrastructures and applications. Furthermore, AIOps facilitates the analysis of extensive data generated by various digital systems, enabling professionals to swiftly tackle issues and, in some instances, devise solutions proactively.

We are in search of an AIOps Specialist to join our team as a student intern, operating in a hybrid model from our Munich and Erding offices as well as remotely. The ideal candidate should possess a foundation in IT management and familiarity with advanced analytical tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). As an AIOps Specialist, your responsibilities will include overseeing, monitoring, and resolving complex challenges related to digital infrastructures and applications. You will also be tasked with utilizing advanced analytical tools to enhance the automation of IT functions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee, monitor, and resolve complex challenges related to digital infrastructures and applications.Utilize advanced analytical tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to enhance the automation of IT functions efficiently.Collaborate closely with fellow IT professionals to devise solutions proactively.Deliver real-time performance monitoring, ongoing insights, and expedited resolution times.Enhance operations through descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, behavioral, and predictive analytics.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related disciplineAt least 1 year of experience in IT managementFamiliarity with advanced analytical tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional communication skills

Project Highlights:

In our initial project, we aim to develop an AI-driven ChatBot service to provide real-time updates on events (initially focusing on incidents) occurring within our environment. Utilizing internal data sources, the ChatBot is expected to address inquiries from business stakeholders, management, and technicians, offering a comprehensive overview of ongoing issues, known or presumed root causes, estimated recovery times, links to discussion forums, information pages, and more.

For our subsequent project, we intend for the AI to analyze both live and historical internal data sources to predict potential root causes of incidents, assisting frontline operational teams in identifying the root cause and resolving incidents as swiftly as possible. Additionally, the AI may begin to propose and execute recovery actions.
