Psychology Internship at krisenchat Ukrainian

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic psychology student or graduate to join our team at krisenchat Ukrainian as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our crisis counselors and contributing to the development of our digital support services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide chat counseling and support to individuals in need
- Assist our crisis counselors with content-related questions and tasks
- Contribute to the development of tools and exercises for our chat consultation
- Participate in internal meetings and supervisions to ensure seamless collaboration
- Translate materials and support administrative tasks as needed
- Confidence in speaking and writing in Ukrainian and/or Russian
- Enrollment or degree in psychology
- Clinical knowledge of problems and psychological disorders
- Ability to work in a team and independently, digitally
- Flexibility, fun, and curiosity in testing digital support services
- Accompaniment by a clinical psychologist (M.Sc.) of the psychological lead team
- Certificate at the end of the internship (usually applicable for universities)

krisenchat is a nationwide, free support service for children and young adults in need. We offer children and young people professional psychosocial counselling - every day, 24 hours a day, via WhatsApp or text message. krisenchat has been available 24/7 since the beginning of May since then, the many crisis counselors have been able to help in over crisis situations. Since 1 March 2022, krisenchat Ukrainian has also been providing confidential crisis counseling in Ukrainian and Russian for people affected by war at any age - with over consultations provided. In addition to crisis counseling, krisenchat reaches many millions of young people every year through psychoeducation via social media platforms.
We are an interdisciplinary and agile non-profit organization and work flexibly from our beautiful office in Berlin or from home.
