NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for a new EU-funded project, Preparatory Study Energy under Cooperation Facility AAP EGYPT NATIONAL HYDROGEN STRATEGY – IMPLEMENTATION PLAN. We are seeking an individual expert to carry out the assignment.
About the AssignmentThe aim is to provide the required information to support the Government of Egypt (GoE) in planning the recommended regulatory and policy actions to enable achieving the potential objectives highlighted in the Hydrogen Strategy. The Consultant will use background analytical information from the Strategy, as well as any incremental information available from the relevant Ministries and public entities in Egypt, and international best practices to develop the core parts of the implementation plan of the Strategy, focusing on regulatory and market framework development, infrastructure planning, local job creation, and financing support.
Requirements- A Master's degree (or higher) in Energy Policy, Environmental Law, Public Policy, Engineering, Economics, or a related field with a focus on energy regulation.
- Good command of English (CEFR C1).
- Experience in managing and leading regulatory projects, including developing and implementing regulations and policies at national or international levels.
- Experience with international regulatory frameworks and standards, such as those established by the International Energy Agency (IEA), European Union (EU) directives, or other global energy organizations.
