We are currently seeking a proactive scientist to join our Agilent Learning Services team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary global coordinator for the development of training programs related to Atomic and Molecular technologies. Utilize your industry expertise and understanding of our clients' strategic objectives to identify, create, and implement technical training solutions and a comprehensive curriculum for Agilent Spectroscopy instruments, software, methodologies, and workflows.
Your collaboration with clients, contractors, and internal teams will be essential in designing, developing, and facilitating the transition of educational solutions to our global delivery teams, ensuring high standards of training quality and client satisfaction. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating online and virtual training modules for our worldwide clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and designs educational solutions for instructor-led, virtual training, and online eLearning, employing instructional design principles. Training materials may encompass laboratories, lectures, eLearning modules, manuals, assessments, videos, webinars, and animations.
- Works collaboratively with a diverse team of specialists to determine suitable curriculum and course content, including product support, product managers, regional experts, clients, and industry authorities.
- Complies with training development standards, guidelines, quality, and regulatory requirements as outlined by the Learning Services product life cycle.
- Maintains a high level of technical expertise in Spectroscopy, particularly in the areas of ICP-MS and ICP-OES.
- Manages education product development projects with external vendors and consultants.
- Facilitates the deployment of courses to local delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from research and development to delivery.
- Conducts selected training sessions through various mediums, including video and virtual formats.
- Leads and engages in various initiatives to enhance the development and delivery functions of the customer education sector, exploring new delivery methods.
Work Environment:
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, ideally situated near one of our demonstration laboratories.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD Degree in a relevant field, such as analytical chemistry.
- Several years of pertinent work experience, including specific exposure to regulated laboratory settings.
- Required experience with Agilent ICP-MS instruments and systems.
- Hands-on experience with Agilent ICP-OES and ICP-MS troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of Agilent GC troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Exceptional English writing and communication skills.
On a personal level, you are self-motivated and capable of working effectively within a remote team. You exhibit curiosity and enthusiasm, demonstrating the ability to research and adapt to new instrumentation, often with minimal formal training.
