Position: Project IT Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and develop comprehensive specifications for both on-premises and cloud-based IT solutions.
- Design and maintain intricate testing and integration environments, working closely with internal teams and external systems in the broadcasting sector.
- Oversee the commissioning, configuration, and integration of third-party systems utilizing RESTful APIs, including Active Directory and Content Delivery Networks.
- Provide advanced support for Media Asset Management Systems, addressing issues through thorough analysis, software updates, and configuration adjustments.
- Investigate system errors reported by users, maintain detailed operational documentation, and assist in training customer support personnel.
- Engage in the continuous enhancement of project execution and support methodologies.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Three to five years of experience in the installation and support of Media IT and Media Asset Management Software.
- In-depth understanding of technologies, devices, and workflows within the broadcasting and media landscape.
- Strong familiarity with video and audio codecs and their modifications.
- Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript) or programming languages such as Java, Perl, or C#.
- Experience in managing Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, Docker environments, networks, search indexes, and databases.
