Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Laboratory Technician to join our Toxicology Laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, and supporting project work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical analyses, including extractions, in the toxicology laboratory
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including GC-FID/-MS systems
• Support project work, including method validation and documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve laboratory goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Experience in an analytical laboratory is an asset
• Knowledge of GC-FID/-MS and/or extraction of medical products is an asset
• Proficiency in laboratory software and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
