Join Our Team as an Assistant Physician in Geriatrics

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Physician (m/f/d) to join our rehabilitation clinic specializing in Geriatrics. Our facility is committed to providing a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, and addressing the needs of elderly patients recovering from complex medical conditions.

• Inpatient Care: Your primary responsibility will be to provide inpatient care for patients within the Internal Medicine and Geriatrics departments. This includes managing conservative and postoperative care for various conditions, particularly those related to skeletal health.
• Collaborative Care: Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care. Your involvement in team discussions will be vital for developing effective treatment strategies.
• Therapeutic Planning: Create tailored therapy plans based on thorough diagnostics, including medication management and conservative treatment options. You will monitor patient recovery and make necessary adjustments to rehabilitation strategies.
• Independent Practice: You will be responsible for executing all diagnostic and therapeutic procedures independently, with the support of experienced colleagues available for guidance during your training.
• Patient Communication: Educate patients and their families about proposed treatment plans, rehabilitation options, and preventive measures. Empowering patients through education on lifestyle modifications and self-management techniques is a crucial aspect of your role.

• Completion of a degree in Human Medicine.
• Possession of a German medical license is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with patients, along with a clear understanding of your responsibilities as a physician (German language proficiency at C1 level).

• A structured training position as an Assistant Physician with a focus on Internal Medicine for a duration of 12 months, followed by an 18-month training program in Geriatrics.
