We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Purchaser to join our team at innomatec Leak Test Solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and services to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct independent procurement activities, including tendering, negotiations, contract closures, and order processing, as well as accompanying pre- and post-order processes, including dispositioning.
- Analyze and evaluate procurement markets and customer requirements for assigned product groups.
- Implement procurement strategies by negotiating prices and contracts with various suppliers.
- Manage correspondence with suppliers and control delivery terms.
- Conduct incoming goods inspections in collaboration with the incoming goods department.
- Ensure quality control (possibly create defect reports).
- Independently maintain master data, price lists, and favorite lists on the e-procurement platform.
- Clarify delivery and invoice discrepancies.
- Participate in supplier evaluation and development.
- Commercial education with a strong technical affinity or equivalent qualification with additional training in procurement, logistics, and/or warehousing.
- Experience with German contract law (HGB, BGB) and in preparing and negotiating (framework) contracts.
- Excellent German and English language skills (at least B2, respectively C1).
- Safe handling of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP programs, and IT affinity.
- High motivation, willingness to learn, and self-initiative, as well as independent and structured work methods.
- High customer orientation, risk-oriented prioritization, and developed cost and quality awareness.
