Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our circuit design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits for our cutting-edge semiconductor products.

About the Role

As an Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of circuit design, from conceptualization to implementation and characterization. Your expertise will be essential in developing data converters and other analog/mixed-signal circuits that meet our stringent quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits using EDA design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop test plans, test programs, and IP characterization.
  • Support chip bring-up activities and ensure seamless integration with other system components.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of various IPs, including ADCs, DACs, PLLs, DLLs, filters, active mixers, driver stages, biasing circuits, LDO regulators, OpAmps, comparators, and switched-cap circuits.
  • Work closely with laboratory teams to develop and execute measurement plans, debug and troubleshoot circuit issues, and optimize circuit performance.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, real-time scopes, arbitrary waveform generators, signal generators, and other relevant tools.
  • Develop and maintain programming skills in languages such as Matlab and Python.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuits and their applications.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with EDA design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in English language.
