About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced actuary or mathematician to join our team in Hannover, Germany. As an Actuary / Mathematician / Property Casualty, you will be responsible for automating underwriting processes, developing AI applications, optimizing data analyses, and performing portfolio analyses. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, such as developing tools for motor third-party liability reinsurance and creating well-founded tools for motor TPL analysis.
Your Skills and Experience- Completed Master's degree in mathematics, physics, or a comparable field of study
- At least 2 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry, ideally with a focus on property and casualty insurance
- Solid knowledge of data analytics and programming skills in R or Python
- Trained as an actuary or interest in taking such training
- Strong powers of communication and proficient user skills in German and at least independent user skills in English
- Keen analytical abilities and individual initiative
- Flexibility: A hybrid work model with flexible working hours and 30 days of annual leave
