Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at Daiichi Sankyo Europe GmbH. As a key member of our Global DX leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our cybersecurity strategy and culture.
About the RoleAs the Head of Global Cybersecurity, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing strategic direction to our cybersecurity function globally. You will lead the strategic direction and operational coherence of cybersecurity in Daiichi Sankyo Group, supervising two distinct functions: Cybersecurity policies & strategy and Cybersecurity architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, managing security policies, standards, and practices with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives.
- Stimulate risk management and oversee the operation of global-level cybersecurity services, including Managed Security Services, Security Operations Center (SOC), and Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
- Act as a close business partner to CDXO and the heads of other functions in Global DX on Cybersecurity related matters.
- Develop and implement security strategies, managing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all regions.
We are looking for a highly experienced Cybersecurity professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity, and a Master's Degree in Cybersecurity preferred. You should have extensive experience in cybersecurity areas such as security architecture, incident response, risk management, and policy development.
You should also have technical expertise in cybersecurity technologies, including cloud security, network security, encryption, IAM, and emerging tech, along with proficiency in security analytics and AI. Additionally, you should have knowledge and capability to stay current with the evolving threat landscape, regulatory changes, zero trust architecture, cybersecurity frameworks, and security automation trends.
