Job Overview The Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving new sales opportunities within Blue Yonder's current customer base as well as prospective clients. This position focuses on building strong business relationships, comprehending client needs, and crafting comprehensive account strategies to enhance Blue Yonder's market presence. The individual is responsible for identifying potential opportunities, formulating tailored sales approaches, and successfully closing deals. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary contact for recognizing, prioritizing, pursuing, and securing growth opportunities within both new and existing Blue Yonder clients while managing the overall client relationship.Develop targeted and effective strategic account plans to achieve revenue goals and ensure sustainable growth.Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, managing the sales pipeline, evaluating prospects, and advancing multiple transactions through the sales process.Provide clear updates on monthly and quarterly objectives to both internal and external stakeholders; collaborate with internal teams (CSM, SE, etc.) to maximize client value.Establish strong relationships based on a deep understanding of client needs and a commitment to delivering value (including expert advice, solution benefits, and implementation support).Actively monitor each client's strategic growth initiatives, technology direction, and competitive landscape. Analyze public data (e.g., executive changes, earnings reports, press announcements) to stay informed on industry trends and challenges affecting clients.Develop and maintain actionable account plans to guide strategic initiatives and uncover new business opportunities. Lead client relationships, persona analysis, and sales processes. Oversee all commercial activities within accounts and across regions, ensuring comprehensive management of the client relationship and overall success.Create and present a detailed business plan addressing client priorities and challenges. Utilize value justification, benchmarking, and ROI data to facilitate decision-making processes.Possess a strong understanding of all Blue Yonder products and solutions to effectively communicate value propositions.Negotiate new contract terms for all SaaS renewals. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in sales, particularly in enterprise software for a rapidly growing organization.Proven business insight and revenue forecasting capabilities in an Account Management or Sales Executive capacity.Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic customer roadmaps.Proven ability to influence and negotiate commercial agreements effectively.Experience with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office applications.Familiarity with the Supply Chain industry is preferred.Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience is required.Fluency in both German and English is essential.
