HSE & CI Coordinator - Safety and Quality Expert

About the Role

Dawn Foods is seeking a highly skilled HSE & CI Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our health, safety, and environmental strategy, as well as supporting the development of a continuous improvement culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HSE plan that aligns with Dawn Foods' internal and external requirements.
  • Design and implement initiatives to improve the production site's safety and efficiency.
  • Establish a strong culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain risk assessments and operating instructions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on safety procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the quality department to conduct internal audits and site inspections.
  • Conduct internal and external audits at Dawn Foods' other sites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with external authorities, such as employers' liability insurance associations and supervisory authorities in occupational health and safety.
  • Participate in the European HSE team to share best practices and address safety concerns across the organization.

    Requirements

    • Master craftsman, technician, or bachelor's degree in business administration or industrial engineering.
    • Qualification as an occupational safety specialist in accordance with §7 ASiG.
    • At least three years' experience in a similar role.
    • Strong awareness of quality and safety principles.
    • Ability to implement concrete measures and conduct training programs.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Structured and independent work approach.
    • Very good knowledge of German and English.
