Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Signal Technician:in (w/m/d) to join our team at DB InfraGO AG in Warburg. As part of our qualification program, you will start as a Facharbeiter:in in the Leit- und Sicherungstechnik department and progress through various development stages to become a Signalmechaniker:in. Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of systems in the Leit- und Sicherungstechnik department, including electronic components such as signals, switches, and interlockings.
• Your primary focus will be on electronic components, but you will also learn about mechanical components.
• You will work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in your regional area.
• Your duties will involve maintaining electrical systems, both indoors and outdoors, with a focus on outdoor work.
• You will also be responsible for clearing railway infrastructure and creating and submitting reports.
• Your work will begin and end at your central base, where you will collect necessary materials, equipment, and tools.

Requirements:

• You must have completed a successful training program in electrical engineering, such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or automation technology.
• After completing our comprehensive training program, you will be ready to participate in our rolling standby program.
• You must be comfortable working outdoors.
• You must be willing to engage in our internal qualification program and demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
• You must be reliable, team-oriented, and flexible.
• You must hold a valid Class B driver's license.
